I officially have one ticet availible for the Newsboys. The cost is 68 dollars. First come first serve here is the info:
Details for Newsboys Trip:
We will be leaving from the church Saturday Nov. 3 @ 8:30AM.
You are required to present your proof of citizenship (passport or birth certificate plus valid picture ID) prior to leaving the church or YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COME and won't get your money back. Also, you must have already passed in your permission slip and hotel money.
We will be traveling straight through to Bangor Maine where we'll have some time to shop at the Bangor Mall in the afternoon before traveling the last hour on to Augusta Maine.
Supper on Saturday night will be at the Olive Garden Restaurant in Augusta at 5:00pm EST before getting to the concert at the Augusta Civic Centre which begins at 7pm EST.
We are spending the night at the Augusta Holiday Inn (front desk phone: 207-622-4751)
Daylight Savings Time ends so we gain an hour of sleep :o)
We're not on a set schedule for Sunday so you will have the option of sleeping in a little. We will be missing church while we're in the States. As a result, EVERYONE MAKING THE TRIP IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE when we get back to Fredericton on November 4th. It will be taking place at starting at 6:30 at Grace Memorial Baptist Church. Please make arrangements to have a way home after Sunday Night Live. If you cannot attend, your parents may pick you up in Fredericton upon our arrival.
It is recommended that you make every effort to have homework done on Friday night since we will be leaving early Saturday until Sunday Night Live finishes around 8:30.
It would be helpful that you purchase some American money before the trip. Debit is not always available and the exchange rate being offered in the U.S. to Canadians is much lower than what you can get here. You will need money for lunch & supper Saturday and all meals Sunday. If you wish to have spending money for the mall you may bring additional money.
Keep in mind that all receipts for purchases coming back into Canada must be kept and declared when crossing customs. You may have to pay tax and / or duty when we return to Canada. Items purchased for personal use that were made in the U.S. or Canada do not require that you pay duty.
If you take any prescription or over-the-counter medications, make sure they are packed in their original vial with the prescription label or their original container.
