Give It Up!

Well guys, our "Give It Up" series has come to a close and we covered a lot of ground. Even though I am sure you all remember everything about it, I thought I would put a little recap on here today.

On May 16th we talked about giving up your time and how it is important to make time to pray, read the Bible and share your faith with others. In general we looked at whether or not we have time for the things of God.
  • (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

  • On May 23rd we talked about giving up your hurt and how alot of the time we carry around with us a lot of pain and sorrow that we don't need to carry around with us because God will take it from us.
  • (Matthew 11:28-30)

  • On May 30th we talked about giving up your life and that is what God truly desires and is the only way to salvation. We also talked about how Jesus gave it up and how we can do the same.
  • (John 10:1-18)

  • Finally last night we talked about giving up your lifestyle and that Jesus doesn't just want your life but he wants to be your life. We also addressed how the old life has to die in order for a new life in Christ to exist.
  • (Romans 6:1-14)

  • It is my prayer for you guys that you will fall into the arms of God and GIVE IT UP!
