Baptism - Congratulations Christy

Well in case you missed it or haven't heard. Christy was baptized into Christ on Sunday morning. Christy has made the most important decision in her life and I encourage you to pray for her as she enters her life with Christ. Here is a presentation to relive the day or see it for the first time!

I Can't Believe it Changed AGAIN!!!

Ok! This is the last change of the Starfield plans, I promise. I got an email from an organizer of the event and as it turns out we can go to the Saint John Show at Market Square. This should mean that more of you can come because getting home at midnight on a Friday night is a little different than a weeknight so once again please let me know if you are interested!

Starfield - BIG CHANGES

Ok so as it turns out the Starfield concert in Saint John on Friday October 6 is part of a Youth Conference that is going on that weekend that we are not attending, furthermore the concert is only for those attending the conference... i.e. not us...

SO! Here is the new harder and more complicated plan (more due to time than anything). There is a concert in Moncton too, which only a little further away but it is on Thanksgiving Monday at Moncton Wesleyan at 7:00pm which is on 945 George Boulevard. This means we would be back late on Monday night and you have school in the morning. If people are still interested we will still go. Let me know. Tickets are still the same price. I will post details like when and where you will be picked up and dropped off once we know if people are going.

Starfield

Ok everyone, we need to see what the interest in this concert is if we are going to go. If you weren't at the kick off and have no idea what I am talking about, allow me to elaborate. I know that many of you are disappointed that grades 9 and under cannot attend Exalt 2006. SO instead, or and if you are in grade 10 or higher, we would like to go to the Starfield concert in Saint John on Friday October 6th. The cost is only 10 dollars!

Who is Starfeild you ask? They are a Christian Band that is really good. You can listen to some of their music by clicking here. This should be a lot of fun but we will only go if there is enough interest. This means I need you to sign up either here or at youth group and let me know so that I can make the needed arrangements. So let me know!

NEWS!!!

Ok, everyone here is the deal, THE TOTAL DEAL!!! Youth Group is getting a face lift and this is what it looks like. From 6:30 to 8:00PM the middle school portion of the X will meet and the high school portion will be from 8:00-9:30PM. The only time this will not be the case is on the first Monday of every month. On that day the whole group will meet from 7:00-9:00.

For those of you who may be checking out the website for the first time, The "X" is a group that meets to hang out, play awesome games, learn about God, take fun road trips and attend cool events. All are welcome and there is of course no cost for regular youth group events.

For those of you who do check the blog often, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA you are back in school!!! And for the first time I am not! HAHAHAHA, this is me laughing at you!!! Have fun and do good!
